| I thought he was DEAD!!! OMG, i just had the scare of my life.... toby was laying on the back of the couch with his eyes open and i went over and lifted his leg and dropped it again... he was completely LIMP.... i said his name... NOTHING..... I shook him really hard, (poor guy, i think he probably has a concussion...lol) It turns out that he was just sleeping, with his eyes WIDE OPEN... He has never slept like that before, so it was really surprising... He was pretty confused as to why he was getting so much attention and love I was so scared, i thought he was dead |

| that is how Ahia sleeps. my husband says she is part cat. same thing happened with Archie yesterday. we were in the car and he had been car sick for a while and then layed down to nap. a very short time later I called his name. nothing. called again. nothing. shook him. nothing. I was really worried. said "want a treat" ....immidate reaction!

| So happy he was just sleeping . I can't stand when they sleep with their eyes open. I never had an adult do it, but pups do. I will shut their eyelids. I think it looks eerie and gross. I'm not sure that is something a person can get used to. His eyes were rolled back some, right? |

| My mom's dog used to sleep with it's eyelids partially open it is creepy. I used to have a boyfriend that when he slept his eyelids didn't close completely and that was really creepy.

| Missy sleeps a lot on her back. Her eyes kind of roll back and you can see the whites of her eyes. It scared our 10 year old grand daughter the 1st time she saw it. I know that scared you, too. I'm glad he's OK.
