| Hair troubles???? I am stuck here! Don't know what to do! Gizmo's hair is somewhat straight, and somewhat curly. I brush him everyday. But he still looks so stringy!! Do you have any idea's? Should I have it cut shorter? Any ideas??

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | How old is Gizmo now ? They all go thru a funny stage I think - both my girls did and it will grow as it grows....but a good shampoo can sometimes really help with the stragglies....What are you using on him now ? I think his hair looks really nice.... |

| I think Gizmo has a real nice coat. (avator pic) It seems Yorkie's get stringy easily no matter what type their coat is from what I've seen.

| Well, his hair looks ok in the pics. But on a regular day, he looks like my little homeless boy!!! I brush him between one and two times a day. Right now I'm just using "Pro Pet Salon shampoo, for sensitive skin". I have been looking for something better. But I'm unsure of what kind to get. Any ideas???

| I kind of have a similar problem with Starsky. His hair is so curly on his back. I brush it straight with Chris Christianson Ice and It goes curly within 2 hours or so. He will be a year in about 2 weeks should his hair be this curly? I think he is more cottoney on his back then on his head. He always has the scruffy look to him!

| Carter and Cooper have straight hair but I blow dry them after every bath. I've never let them air dry so I have no clue what it would look like otherwise. They both get the stragglies. I think its all a part of having straight, long hair. As Villette said too . . . they go through a "teenager" stage where everything seems to be ackward. I attribute it to growth spurts and the beginning stages of their adult coat coming in. Cooper is 10 months old and it seems his coat is finally growing. Gosh he was/is darned straggly looking. He looks like an orphan most days. The reward is knowing that he will be the silkiest coated of all three of my babies.

| I just got the CC systems for Jolene and I am quite impressed. She had an area on her hips that was wavy but it is staying pretty much straight now. Good luck.

| my troubles are over I had the same trouble with Bubba he was nothing but tangles and knotts but with the help of the sages here it has been resolved. CC systems was recommended. day to day shampoo and conditioner then ice on ice for daily grooming. Someone else had recommended Frizz eze after blowing dry and this also has helped. |
