| Akc and Aca are a different registery. AKC..If you breed 2 dogs..they both have to be AKC for you to be able to register the pups AKC. Or AKC if you show a dog in an AKC dog show. ACA will allow you to register an AKC dog through them. If you breed an AKC and An ACA dog together you have to register the pup under ACA registery. If you are happy with the dog then the registery done not matter. I have Both....Sherry |

| It is just a registery, but I would never register my dogs with a registery that promotes Petland as a place to purchase a puppy. They are what people who do not qualify for AKC will use. The add below is right off the ACA site. They don't list breeders, but instead list pet stores if you click on their "find a puppy button. | CKC is the Canadian version of AKC. Stands for Canadian Kennel Club. Same standards I believe. (Correct me if I'm wrong!) |

| The CKC and the AKC standards differ only slightly depending on the breed. For the Yorkshire Terrier, I believe they are the same. The ACA isn't an impressive kennel club all around. Don't think I'm knocking your particular puppy, because I'm not! I view those breeders who use them are a little shady...like they cut corners not just on standards, but on cost as well. And again, they do in fact promote petstores and the like which to me is just irresponsible. This kennel registry is more interested in making a buck and going where the uneducated are to do it. It's very inappropriate if you ask me and I wouldn't trust a pedigree on dog if I bought it from the ACA. NOT ALL of those breeders I'm sure are shady, but I believe the vast are. |

| I have ACA, AKC, and APRI dogs. I like APRI the best out of all the registries because they are very helpful and not rude.
