| Not sure what to make of it We are not to sure what going on with Fancy today. She can't sit still for nothing. She goes around the table or lick on her feet. Has anyone else 🐕 have done this before and if so what is it they are doing. What can we do to help her. Thanks for taking the time to read it. |

| Whatever we might tell you, we won't be able to diagnose her and would only be guessing at best, which won't help her tonight or tomorrow and she sounds miserable, may be in pain. Only a vet can properly asses, test, treat & help her feel better.

| It could be pain or if she is licking her paws a lot she might be itchy.

| She use to lick a lot more before she got allergy shot and some cream for her feet. But she won't sit still early today. We thought it was she wanted to go for a car ride to see my granny today. And too if someone else 🐕 had the same problem then I know I wasn't alone with. |

Please don't delay getting her professional care. You're the only one who can get her to real help from whatever is wrong.

| Wow, that's a long wait for a dog who was sending awfully loud signals that she was too miserable to stay still. She's probably just worn out from all the fidgeting & restlessness. Just because she's adapted better now doesn't necessarily mean she can afford to wait on healthcare. Dogs are stoics, hide all the signs of illness/injury/discomfort they can by instinct. Please just get her vetted today & see what's going on, treatment as indicated.

| Going back several threads, there seem to be more than a few replies from you that explains why you don't readily vet your dog when having problems and report here for discussion later? I'm really interested. Why don't you vet first sign she's having problems?

| Take her to your present vet, as I'm sure you searched out and found another one as both conditions need treatment, allergies especially in the spring and fall. If she has been diagnosed with allergies and dry skin, there are tests and treatment for both. And as someone who has allergies to many antibiotics, I know that that type of itching can be utterly maddening, every bit if not worse than a lot of post-op pain it's so intense. Pain medicine can help intense pain but so far, allergic reaction itching has only mild relief for humans, so all one can do is avoid drugs we're allergic to or go mad. If you little one is dealing with that type of wide, systemic itching, she's truly in need of quick help. Dogs feel pain, feel itching, feel illness and injury but as a species try as hard as they can to hide any outward show of it unless the frustration finally makes them desperate enough to show they need help by shaking, pacing, nervous/obsessive behavior, drooling, restlessness, abnormal behavior of any kind. Her restlessness, foot licking can be a cry for help, mom, and she needs it sooner rather than later.

| That's very encouraging, that she's got medicine to take and here's hoping it helps. Is she your dog or that of the family, hon? Maybe there is someone older there who can see to her meds when allergy season is raging, see that she gets regular doses or find out why present meds may not be working as they should. And if she's got dry skin, someone needs to get her to the vet about the dryness of her skin, get some testing and effective treatment for that. Dry skin can itch like mad, totally affect her comfort, sense of well-being and thus her behavior. Also with the ear problems, she likely needs those little ears periodically vet checked and professionally cleaned to help prevent recurrent ear issues and itching there. These little Yorkies can be care-intensive with all of their medical issues and absolutely use up any disposable income in a single vet visit I know but someone in the family needs to take her on, someone with the funds and motivation to keep up with giving her needed medications and be sure she never gets like she was yesterday, see to ear check-ups and cleaning, needed dry skin care, other medical issues, be sure she gets routine vet examinations, needed testing and immediate vet visits if she's indicating there are problems. Seems like I remember she's had a lot of itching and ear problems and here's hoping you can get someone to help you care for her. Good luck!
