| won't stop searching now...... To alleviate some of the boredom for Duchess, I started hiding peices of cheerios around the house.....well guess what.....she's obsessed. She goes from room to room checking every nook and cranny. She won't stop looking for them. But on the flip side, I found a way to work off some of that energy |

| While I understand what you are saying, Duchess has been eating off the floor for the last 7 years without any encouragement from me. She's a vacuum cleaner. When I eat, she stares at the floor waiting for me to drop something by accident. It's just me in the house and as long as I have had animals (my entire life), I have never been able to stop them from eating off the floor or ground. When I am outside I try to watch watch her to make sure she doesn't put anything in her mouth but in the house it's just me and I typically don't bring any food in the house they may be toxic to them. |

| Mine kinda play this game by themselves lol. Penny will burry food in different places and everyone ends up eating it before she comes back for it

I I have a cat and you know how delicate cats are with their food and treats. If I give my cat treat on the floor, she has to stare and smell it like forever before she eats it......as you can imagine, Duchess usually ends up stealing it from her. | |

| Typical Yorkie behavior. Anything they really enjoyed doing, such as sniffing out treats, is like highgrade catnip, nectar for the gods only better! And in their minds, should be repeated often. Terriers can become OCD about searching activity - they enjoy it so much. I've had Yorkies obsess over search behavior for days, even weeks! They can drive you slightly nuts over their little obsessions but I love them for it even more. So determined to get what they want!
