| update on possible adoption Hi All, I thought I would update you all on the yorkie I am fostering that I thought I would adopt. Unfortunately, he is not right for my household. As adorable and lovely as he is he would do much better in a home with no other animals. He is not getting along with Bella and Thumper and they are my first priority. (They have settled into ignoring each other for now) I learned a lot in this process and have to say I am really enjoying the fostering experience. I find it is a great way to have another dog without all the financial responsibility. I told the rescue group I would absolutely foster another small dog again. I will continue to foster him until he finds his forever home so he has a warm safe place to stay for now. If you know anyone in the NYC area that is looking for a 2 year old male yorkie let me know and I can send more details. Everyone is right three dogs is challenging I am discovering. It's hard to walk all three together and the house is a lot more noisier. I love it all. One day I will add to my broad of dogs but for now I will continue to foster until I find the right fit. It may be another yorkie or just another small dog. I am keeping all my options open.

| As you continue to foster him they all might start getting along well. Sometimes it takes awhile for everything to kinda work together. When we got Joey my moms rescue just kept barking and barking at him for days. It was crazy.

| I agree with Taylor, it takes time for your furbabies to adjust and accept a new comer, it doesn't happen over night and with rescues it takes them a while to adjust to you, new furries, schedule, smells, sounds, everything is strange, new to them and takes a rescue awhile to adjust to a new home and mom. Thumper and Bella will more then likely accept him in a few weeks. In any case I think it's awesome that you are fostering him, I would fail as a foster mom, I would end up keeping them lol.

| Thanks all for the warm wishes. I do hope things change but at this time I'll just enjoy his company for now. Eventually I will be a foster fail as I know the right fur baby is out there for me.

| What a wonderful attitude! Best of luck settling into a calmer routine which may, or may not, tempt you to take this little one in...but you will know when the fit it right for everyone in your pack. In the meantime, enjoy the good moments, and bless you for your efforts as a foster!
