| New Post New Poster Hello I'm a yorky daddy 3 times over, although I lost my baby girl Cassy in Aug and I'm still not over it. She was my baby girl. Still have her husband Louie and their son Porky. She was 11 had to have her put to sleep she was diabetic, had episodes of pancreatitis and vet said she had intestinal disease which shed had for awhile. It devastated me. She fought hard for me to come through her last episode of pancreatitis, it was very hard on her I just couldn't ask her to fight anymore I felt it would be selfish of me to put her through it again. |

| Welcome to YT, so sorry for the loss of your sweet Cassy girl. It's so hard when it's their time to leave us, they leave such a big impact on us. Louie and Porky will need much attention to get through the loss of Cassy girl, focusing on them will help ease your pain.

| I am so sorry for your loss! Many of us have been in the position that you have found yourself...it is always heartbreaking to make the decision to let our little ones leave us. Please be assured that it is the final loving gift that we can give, and take comfort knowing that your Cassie is now free of her pain. Welcome to Yorkie Talk!

| Thank you all for your condolences. Leave it up to me to not spell my babies name right, I put Cassy and it's spelled Cassie. I am considering getting another baby girl Yorkie don't get me wrong me and my wife love the husband Louie and the son Porky but there's something about the female Yorkies that pull on my heart strings lol. If any of you are reputable breeders or know of any please let me know, I live in Pennsylvania, but I just want breeders who do not overbreed and have previous buyer references. I'm probably not gonna get a female right away. That way I can have some choices. I feel that's a lot of the problem with the diabetes and pancreatitis is all the overbreeding and inbreeding. |

| That's exactly it Tom boys lol. When we first got Cassie my wife tried putting the little bows in her hair and she wasn't having none of that she ripped them out faster than my wife could put them in lol. |
