| Thank you very much for checking in with me. Jenny is doing great! She’s been going pee and poo outside since third day we brought her home. Has still has an accident, but not much. My biggest problem is CONSTANT chewing on us and things! It NEVER stops...lol. I have several chew toys available for her. When I put her in her xpen, she never chews in there. I’d love suggestions cause it’s getting tiring, not to mention sore fingers and toes lol. We do distract with her chew toys when biting, but after a bit, back to us. She is only 9 weeks old. Maybe we just have to wait it out? |

But since that's not possible anymore, you'll have to be firm in training her. Try doing a loud yelp if she bites. Even if it doesn't hurt. Let her know she has hurt you. Then give a firm "NO!". Don't let any bite go unannounced that it's painful and not okay. Your body parts are not chew toys. Waiting it out won't work. It's imperative that you train her out of it, no matter how cute she may be.

| Cover the bottom of a plastic bowl w/h20, freeze, and give the ice disc to your puppy. If she's teething the ice will help numb her gums (big, flat piece of ice is easier to bite and more fun to slide around, etc). |

| Every time lil Miss Jenny starts to nip or bite, tell her "no biting" in a firm tone and give her a chew toy. She is just a little baby and just wants to play, life is new and exciting to her. As others have said, she should have stayed with her momma and litter mates until 12 weeks old, in this time the momma teaches her babies hard playful nipping / biting are unacceptable. So now you have to teach her that. It's gonna be hard to be firm with her because she is so tiny, cute and soooo funny. Be firm and consistent.
