| Evangers has had issues for years so honestly they doesn't surprise me. It makes me glad to have my babies on prescription food because they take a little more care with it.

| This is why I stick with Hill's Science Diet for the most part. I do use RX foods from Purina and Royal Canin as well. I have said it a million times to people....that focus on ingredients is not the answer. Companies that put money where it matters is what is important. The ones who spend money on research and feeding trials AND hire the best in the field...vet nutritionists. I made this decision after the recalls many years ago that killed so many pets. It scared the heck out of me. I was a bit brainwashed like others about the ingredient bs .... there is so much more to dog food than ingredients.

| I've had Gidget on Royal Canin almost since day one and haven't heard anything bad about the product or the company. Have heard several negative things about Purina. |
