| Leaving my baby We got our new girl on Sunday and she is 14 weeks My question is, if you don't have a choice to leave your puppy (who is NOT 100% potty trained) for more than 4 hours do you put them in their crate with a pee pad or an exercise pen? Tomorrow I have to leave her for about 8 hours with no choice and nobody to watch her. All I have is a small crate for her. Its only big enough for her food and water and a blanket. Should I purchase a big crate and put a pee pad on one side and her food and bed on the other side? I also have a baby play pen I can put her in too. I HATE I have to leave her for so long! This will not be the first time I have left her but it is the first time I have left her for so long. Thank you in advance! |

| You have two threads posted with the same question. It's a GIRL! You have to stick with one thread, you have answers on It's a girl.

| That is a long time, I would worry about hypoglycemia more then anything else. A dog exercise pen would be best but I have a feeling you are going to have a huge mess to clean up.

| I'm sorry I did not mean to post twice. I didn't know if my first post went through so I made another. I apologize. Thank you for your replies |
