| Pesky Little Cling-ons I would welcome suggestions for how other yorkie owners minimize those pesky little poop cling-ons (as our vet tech calls them) on yorkie bottoms. They often come off spontaneously and become "raisenettes" that we've learned to spot with an eagle eye before we step on them. Diet suggestions? Grooming techniques? We're open ideas. ... |

| Shaving their butt is the best thing but you will still occasionally get them. I check butts daily and use sentive baby wipes if we have an issue.

| My boy is kept in a puppy cut all the time however, a week or two before his nx grooming his hair has grown back there. I trim it with a scissor very carefully. I hold his lil stump of a tail up, a couple of snips and he's good until it's spa time. My now passed girls, 2 had full coats, I trimmed the same way. I also use unscented baby wipes each time he poops.
