| Welcome to YorkieTalk. I think a visit to the vet needs to be arranged. It maybe nothing or something that can be treated. Please let us know how he makes out.

| Chews has something just like this under her chin. It was pretty itchy. I thought it was bug bites, and vet thought it was acne.. but then closer look showed cradle cap type stuff, only raised.so vet just said moisturize it. It's still there slightly but it didn't take too long to get it better. Good luck, I hope it goes quickly and it's something simple like what she has. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | And is it on the top of the head, then...? If so, I'd actually have it swabbed and cultured asap, as this could very easily be ringworm (a fungus, not a worm); dogs will often get it on top of their head. It's quite contagious (to both humans and dogs) and they can lose hair.

| Welcome to YT, I have used Frontline from the time it hit the shelves and has always worked for my gals. This past summer my vet suggested to use Simparica, it's a chewable tab. IDK why could be she is now carrying this. There are many choices on the market today.

| Hi Jayne, from another UK member. You spell your name the same way as my cousin! Did a bit of research and found this....seems relevant, as the initial poster had a Yorkie. <Dogpages UK dog rescue forums> Hope it helps. |
