| how can you stand it ? I can't believe it but it has been almost a month since Bella joined our family ... she is now almost 14 weeks old ... and there is a problem ... she is too cute! how do you resist all that yorkie cuteness ... she is supposed to potty train - but of course has plenty of accidents - forget about getting her to step on WET grass with her teeny princess feet ... but is anyone mad with her? ... No! She gives us one of those cute " it wasn't me " looks and we forget all about the wee wee on the carpet-ee ... and then she is supposed to sleep on the floor ... but again - one of those yorkie looks and she somehow ends up on a lab ... where she takes all her naps ... and then I was thinking to get her used to brushing - and guess what ... this ridiculous dog loves brushes - it is hilarious- she will lay belly up and beg for more ... this is not normal! Walking on a leash ... well ... not sure how this will ever work ... it is getting cold and just one little shiver of Mrs Bella and my family will trip over themselves to stuff her into their jackets carrying the poor darling - who clearly likes it - I swear she has the " shiver-carry me" thing perfected ... we are all putty in Bella's paws ... here a new picture ... her new look is one ear up, one down ... we love it ... and look at the cute tail - that tail is quite something ... we call it the " mood meter" I fear this baby is too spoiled - but nobody can resist that cuteness ... |

| Aw beautiful Could have written this post myself they are impossibly adorable. I can't count the kisses and cuddles our lil Addie gets a day. When I've picked her up for the 1000th time I worry she will get sick of these cuddles but she cuddles back every time. It's bliss. We are all blessed to have these beautiful dogs xx

| I was explaining exactly the same thing to a co-worker; say what you will, when they give you that look, (at least for me) it's all over! I don't know about you, but after scolding Piper for having an 'accident'--scolding by the way is...(low voice) "Shame on you, bad dog." And then I give her a stern look and walk out of the room. About 12 seconds later, I'm back and on the couch next to Piper, and hugging her and smooching her little noggin and I'm apologizing to her--and truly meaning it!! No love like the love we have for these babies... |

| Isn't it wonderful to be owned by a yorkie. Bella is just adorable, how can you not smooch that sweet lil face.

| have you ever noticed the effect a yorkie has on men ... it is outright funny ... our otherwise gruff older countryside vet starts fawning over Bella as soon as we enter his office ... grown hulking men with pit bull terriers and " bling" at the park start talking baby talk begging to hold her. And don't get me started about kids- Bella is a kid magnet... Playdates for my daughter have become yorkie cuddle parties ... I have 3 other small dogs - while people tend to find them cute I can walk them undisturbed ... with Bella - I can't make it a few yards without people stopping me ... too funny! She has trained us well - luckily she is a sweet girl and pretty well behaved even without any " serious" training ... I am sure she will get the hang of potty training ( we have a Maltese mix and it took a year but - eventually - success!)- and I am doing my best to teach her some manners between smooches. I contacted several puppy classes - unfortunately most people where I live have huge dogs and the trainers did not feel comfortable having her in class with mostly rompy large breeds - looks like we are stuck with youtube until she is bigger. Luckily Bella has no socialization issues - loves dogs and people ... |

I had a bit of a hard time with Remy at first. Now she is the best of my "pack" so hang in there.

| Bella IS adorable!! When we go to pet stores, I have to plan at minimum 30 minutes of time as many of the staff have to come & hug & kiss my furkidz. Also, customers have to come see them & make over them. Many times they ask to take pics even! We love it.
