| testicle problem...oh NO! One of his testicles isn't dropping. He is about 4 mo old, and I know there is still time, but the other one has been down for a couple of months. I do plan to have him altered (at 6 mo), but I hate that now it could be a more extensive surgery... |

| One of Mac's never decended, it was in his abdomen. He was neutered when he was one. I waited until he and Mellie could go at the same time. He came through surgery just fine. My vet specializes in small breeds so I felt more comfortable knowing this, even though I was still a wreck when he had his surgery.

| The price really went up too...from around $100 to 175-225 if the other one hasn't dropped. Is this normal? |

| Another question... I have read on here that you can sometimes massage it down..my vet said nothing about this. Could I possibly do it if I was intructed how, or would the vet need to. And does it work? |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | It is a hereditary trait and the breeder needs to be made aware of the situation. She doesn't need to breed this pair of dogs anymore. I've heard that you can do the massage method which involves "stroking" the side of the penis. Guess that it arouses the "maleness" and causes the testicle to drop. I do not know how successful it is, but at this point, it doesn't hurt to try.
