Pencil ingested It's always my daughter and this was despite me cleaning her room thoroughly.. she managed to find a pencil she dropped on the ground under her chaise lounge. Daughter is always sketching and she's quite good, but It was only a matter of time. Vet called; she only ingested the wooden part which is why I bothered to call. I have no way of knowing how much she ate as the pencil wasn't new. could have been part of an inch or part of a half an inch. I found pieces on the ground. They didn't want to ingest vomiting for obvious reasons. She played really hard despite the meal I fed her- I usually am a fanatic about making her rest after eating. Vet made me feed her a full meal and i did right away. I'm just venting. I know they get into a lot being so close to the ground, but these situations can be avoided. I'm to the point where I just want to throw out everything she owns.

I hope so. She woke up 30 minutes ago and had a huge soft poop in the middle of the night. not runny, but not formed. Fell apart when i picked it up, but left very little residue. we are on high alert. ANY vomiting and we are out of here; even if the vets office isn't open. currently she's in her favorite spot on my bed sleeping.

No. I went to sleep very soon after I posted this. I left the page up. However, she vomited around 3 hours after she did the poop, and it was the fromms I gave her around 2 hours before she went to bed so around 9pm. Mostly digested, called the vet, and told hubby that he was to have woken me up IMMEDIATELY as I was upstairs asleep; didn't want to wake up Chewie. waiting for a call back. No pencil. There was a huge quarter sized lump of hair and lint though.

Thank you. We see them at 2pm. I hope that while she was chewing the pencil she picked up the lint and hair and it's what made her so nauseated. it's possible- our carpet is cheap and like sandpaper. I have to scrape the carpet to pick hair up for our dyson to pick up. She's currently begging to play, but is doing lots of burping and licking.

She's.. well, she's not OKAY but, we're taking care of it. she's on a medication for coating her tummy and intestines. Vet gave her a lecture about giving me a heart attack but chewie just licked her face in negotiation. As I've said, and was really venting before, this situation could have been avoided, as always, so it makes it that much more upsetting. She just does what puppers do. No more vomit or soft poop, but, then again, i haven't seen her poop since this morning. we'll see how she does. Pumpkin in her food for fiber. She's confident things will be better and I trust she's right. Thanks, Matese!

These babies will scare you to death. Our Zeus never eats anything, but Percy would break teeth eating a nail if he could. He was vomiting up some wooden/plastic/don't know substance that looked like a cross between bamboo and plastic with lots of string in it. We held on to that crap for a month trying to figure out what he got. We still have not found it. I guess we will have to move out of our house and see when it's empty! Everywhere we saw wood chewed we compared but not match. I hope your baby is completely well!

| Aww, I hope your baby gets better yeah I remembered before bringing my girl home I had all my niece's stuff put up and out of the way. Always reminded her to keep stuff off the floor that wasn't for the puppy. Our previous jack russels were smart enough to not eat/chew any of it but yea X.x she of course just ate the corner of the walls and furniture, instead :P
