All worn out Is your Yorkie social? I live in a 55+ community and everyone here knows Penny. She goes from neighbor to neighbor visiting...it takes forever just to get around the block. The other night we were outside talking to some people and Penny played so hard that she crashed when we got home. I had to wake her up to potty. She went right back to sleep afterwards. I am known by most people as "Penny's Mom"..lol

ROFL How cute is that! Sounds like you live in a wonderful place with great neighbors. And I think the name thing goes with being a furbie mom's territory. I'm also guilty of not remembering the person's name but I certainly remember the furbie!

| That's so cute! What a darling to entertain all your neighbours! Lucky you - I wish Scottie and Casie were more social! Instead of greeting everyone, we have to dodge everyone lol

It speaks so highly of Penny and you that she's so social--and beyond cuuuuute! Reading your post warmed my heart and made me smile; I'd be delighted to live in your complex. Can't get over how very precious your little girl is...Yorkies open up our worlds, don't you think? I know Piper has made me not only a happier person, but a better person, as well. Sometimes I think, while watching her interact with a fellow shopper, that Piper brings out the uninhibited child in people; they smile at her, talk silly to her and for a moment truly engage with a little dog---it's always fun and always lovely. I love that you're Penny's "mom" because as with most of us, I, too, can greet the canines by name, and everyone just laughs and nods in understanding and we go off on our merry ways feeling danged good that our pets are welcomed, fawned-over, and greeted by name!

What a sweetie! She reminds me a lot of my little boy who passed away a month ago... He used to stick his little tongue out like that when he was in a deep sleep. Thanks for sharing.

My daughter says Penny is a celebrity....one neighbor just got a Yorkie puppy and is picking her up Monday. He says it's all Penny's fault. I have always been a shy person but Penny has really forced me out of my shell. She is a blessing.
