|  Mother's Day What are everyone's plans on Mother's Day to spend with your fur babies? I have no children so this is my first time celebrating as a Yorkie Mommy. I decided to go on a tour this Saturday with my dogs that will take us out of NYC to Long Island Beach where the boys can spend time running around with other dogs and put their feet in the ocean. After a picnic lunch we will visit two wineries that allows dogs and I can partake in some wine tasting. I am just hoping that the weather will clear up as it has been raining all week. (Though not looking too hopeful) I can't wait to spend the weekend with my babies.

| Wow that sounds like a lot of fun. That's the only thing I miss not living in NY, the ocean. That water is going to be frigid lol, but pups running on the beach will be a blast to watch, they LOVE sand lol watch out they don't start rolling in it lol, my girls use to LOVE rolling in the sand. Happy fur mommy day, enjoy your babies.

| That sounds like so much fun! I don't have children either and just realized I can celebrate 'mother's day' with my furbabies this year too  Question for the Yorkie-beach-goers... is it hard to clean the sand out of their hair afterwards? Do you wash them up before you go home? Does the sand stick to their bodies? I have yet to take my babies to the beach. Scottie and Casie have semi-long hair and I just don't wanna clog up my tub with sand lol...

| HA! I cannot wait. My children don't know, it will be exciting to see their joy as well. I hope the transition goes okay for this little fella into our new home. I always feel a little bad for them leaving the nest. He is almost four months old. |
