| SO expressive!!! Chewie's ears alone say what she's thinking. When she greets me, I get a small grin-close mouthed and ears up, ears down, ears up, ears down. The closer I get, the helicopter tail goes a running. That look she gives me over her shoulder cracks me UP.. and any time she's clearly telling my husband where to shove it, her ears turn inwards. We have this special routine, I take my ipad and read the kindle app and hold her bully stick up. She'll take her furry paws and stroke my hands. Any one else tries to do that she'll snort and move away. If I can't hold it up, she's relegated a toy to do it for her. They are such funny little guys!!! I was telling someone I've had dogs my whole life running around. A sheltie, labs, dobermans and rottweilers. I was told so your first dog. lol, YUP!!! Again, it's been hectic so I wanted to post something light again. I'd love to hear stories on how people are greeted. I'm curious if the ears come into play, or anything else. |

| Piper is right at the door as I open it, then she jumps on couch, wiggling like crazy; then she'll turn and bounce away, then comes back "smiling" (goofy-lookin' and ever-so-sweet) and then she has to find a good bone (little sausage treat) for me---which needs to be 'buried' in the bed, the next one she buries outside. I have to start rubbing her little tummy pretty quickly so she doesn't get overly excited (results in that weird breathing thing) and as soon as I do that Piper will stand very still. We have our little ritual on which I've grown completely dependent and look forward to every single time! Love how you describe Chewie's little ears doing a radar-kind-of-thing, yes?! Toooo cute! |

| Ears are moving!! As soon as my furbaby see's me she's wagging her tail and her ears go back or perk up.... sometimes she jumps off the bed and runs circles around me as I'm walking in, or sometimes she waits for me to come get her and give her kisses... So adorable and I'm so lucky to have someone greet me when I get home from work. Makes my life happier!

| Bella seems to use her ears mostly in a utilitarian way where Bailey's ears are very active and expressive. It is really cute to watch them.

| Max's whole body starts shaking with excitement when he sees either myself or his daddy, whether we've been apart ten minutes or a few hours. He runs around our legs and rubs against us like a cat when he is let loose from the crate
