| Just Wanted to Say Hello.. from Jamie and Me Hi everyone.. I'm a newbie to this Forum and my little Jamie is only five months old (almost). He is a Biewer Yorkie.. although I get in trouble every time I call him a Yorkie.. I'm supposed to say "Biewer Terrier". Whatever! I look forward to talking with other Biewer Moms & Dads and getting to know all of you furbaby lovers! |

| Welcome and breeder needed Hi Newbie! I'm another Newbie. I see you live in Fresno. Both of my past Yorkies were from Fresno! Although neither of these breeders are active any more. I'm in Contra Costa County now (the SF Bay Area) and wondered if you or anyone else know of a good breeder. My beloved Zoie passed away in January and I'll be ready for another little girl after May. | Isn't it funny how particular some people can be...? Yorkie, Biewer, terrier, too big, too small....! Your Jaime is flat-out adorable, is totally loved and is all yours--who cares about the 'technicalities?!!' At five months, you must have your hands delightfully filled with Jaime! |

| Biewer Yorkie vs Biewer Terrier Hi JK.. I guess I can understand why it's important to call the "new" breed a Biewer Terrier rather than a Yorkie. They are so much like the party colored Yorkie that the actual Biewers can only be validated by a DNA test... unless there is AKC registry trail from 2014 when the AKC finally approved it as separate from the Yorkshire Terrier. Either way, I love my little guy and he is the light of my life right now. So far he shows every good trait that the breeders directory says he should. He is completely fearless, loves everyone and everything, learns extremely quick, is stubborn at times but will finally agree with you (if he has to). As you can tell, I'm a wee bit partial to the little guy. He even had a great time, a couple of weeks ago, playing with my granddaughter's 150 lb. German Shepherd! |

| Hi Liz KP.. I know of a couple of Biewer Breeders in the bay area.. are you interested in a multicolored baby or actual Yorki? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome! Biewers and partis trace back to the exact same kennel/line...so I can see why it gets confusing for people.
