I bought a 2 month old yorkie puppy a month ago. It is now Supposebly 3 months. Ive been reading about the maturtity levels and it says ear for yorkies dont stand up till 3 months and teeth dont fall till 4 months. yet at 2 1/2 months one ear stood up and at 2 months she already had 4 teeth gone. i think i got scammed of the age? Or is it naturtal for it to happen early

If you wanted the ears to stand up, they should've been taped up a long time ago...by the breeder. They should've been standing when you bought her. See the Puppy Library for the thread on how to tape ears.

There isn't really a specific age ears stand up. There is also not set timeline for the teeth to start coming out. Every line matures in their own timeline. I have a boy who started losing his baby teeth at 3 1/2 months and have had others not start till they were closer to 6 months.

Ears go up and down all the time....an 8 week old baby MAY have both ears up, but if they are up, you shouldnt be dismayed if they drop again with teething...they will/can go back down, one or both of them, and then they usually go back upright....I will usually start taping ears at 16-18 weeks if they are not STAYING upright, or if they have BEEN up and then dropped.... If I have a baby whose ears have not indicated they are going to stand, then I start taping them at 10 weeks......I start shaving the hair from pups ear tips from the time they are 5-6 weeks old, just to lighten the load on those precious little bitty ears.....
