When you do return to your own home you are going to go through all this retraining again with your Mastiff and new home setting. Perhaps when you return home Amelia will have gained more confidence in herself and you as her protector and caretaker, she may be a bit more accepting, but lol a Mastiff is a huge dog lol, just his size could send little Amelia into panic mode. I am more the sure all things will work out just fine. Amelia right now has many adjusts to get through. You are a great and caring mom for this sweet little girl.

| We're starting obedience in a couple weeks to work on her manners and her dog aggression and hopefully I can get some tips on how to stop her from being so possesive and protective of me. To the last reply- she has been acting the same as she did when she was in her kennel. Since I worked with her everyday she got to know me so when I adopted her it was no issue but now she's just growling , barking and trying to bite other people/dogs she doesn't know. And my aunts dogs. I'm going to the trainer that comes to my work, she said all this behavior is completely normal, however it needs to be dealt with asap! |
