| Advantage Has anyone used Advantage (NOT Advantix) for their yorkies? Georgia is 13 weeks and 4lbs. She had a check up today and the vet gave me a small tube. I haven't used it yet. |

| I used it on my puppies when they were under 4 lbs since dogs have to be over 4 lbs to use advantix II. The difference between the 2 is advantage only works on fleas and Advantix prevents fleas, ticks and mosquitos. My puppies were ok with it.

| My Penny is on Advantage Plus...it prevents flees, heartworms, round worms but not ticks. |

| Thank you everyone. I didn't get Advantix because of my cats (playing and grooming). |

| I have used Advantage for years on my yorkies and I have never had a problem. I now use the Advantage II. It is suppose to not wash off as easily as the regular Advantage. If you have a lot of fleas then you might have to apply it every three weeks until you get the fleas under control. My daughter used Advantix on her little yorkie and she had a reaction to that one.
