Royal Canin Hypo-allergenic diet for HGE type symptoms

Hello everyone,

My boy Cocoa has been suffering from HGE type symptoms where he has 4 episodes of bloody vomits and had to stay overnight in the Vet Emergency in past 2 months. Please go to my post to for details on it http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...dy-vomits.html

After trying Prescription I/D diet for 4 weeks he still had an episode of bloody vomit. Doctor's could not find anything in his fecal tests or Ultrasound.

His Vet talked to a vet nutritionist and thinks he might have some kind of protein absorption problem or food allergy and suggested we start giving him Royal Canin Hypoallergenic diet for next 3 weeks and see if it works.

Please pray for my boy and I am open to read similar stories like Cocoa and what helped you get your babies through it or help them with this kind of troublesome problem.
