| I can't wait to walk him!!!!! How old were your puppies when you began taking them on walks? I can't wait to take my little man on a walk with me but now he's only 11 weeks, and i know he at least needs his final shots before he goes out possibly around other dogs. |

| I took my 8-week-old puppy outside for a little walk (in my yard) the first day I had him. He loves being outside - totally loves it - regardless of the weather. But, because it is so rainy right now, we don't go out often. I'm the one that doesn't want to go out - not my dog! And - my pup has his best friend here (my other dog), and he has visited the other dogs in the neighborhood as well. I live in a Condo association where most of us have little spoiled dogs -- all of whom have had all their shots and get regular vet visits. I don't worry. Plus he has become very used to other dogs and is well socialized with other dogs and other people. My pup is 19 weeks old now, happy, healthy, and growing like a weed! I live alone - so it is especially imprortant for me to have company and get my dog out and around other dogs and people as much as possible. Carol Jean |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | We started walking our girls about 4 months old, once they were big enough to really handle it. Now we try and walk a couple of times a week and once it warms up we will go at least once a day!! My two love to go walking and just be outdoors!!

| It's never too early to get him used to the harness and leash! Even it's just around the house. He'll be walking like a pro before you know it.
