Clorox wipes Does anyone else use these? I've been using them for quick clean-ups (my 2 boys miss the pad), but after reading about other cleaners, am I doing more harm than good? I haven't seen any ill effects, but I don't want to see any either!

When my pup was little, I used Windex on the kitchen floor but always followed it with just plain water- I had read that ammonia would kill the pee smell but I am not sure if that is true. I wouldn't trust the Clorox wipes w/o wiping up after them. The pups are so little- I am sure you wouldn't let a human baby crawl around on bleach.

I use the Lysol wipes......and I actually called the company becuz of concern. They assured me that as long as I let it dry completely before letting Reese walk on it, there was no risk.

I use them all the time for quick clean up around Olivia's pad in the kitchen. They're no more harmful than any other cleaning product out there. As long as your dog isn't licking the area immediatly after you clean it, you're fine. I wouldn't worry about the products being unsafe. There are babies crawling all over floors cleaned with the wipes and with Swiffers, and just like puppies, babies investigate everything with their mouths- I've yet to hear of any babies being sick or dying because a parent cleaned their floors with Swiffer brand products. If these products were that harmful, they wouldn't be on the market.
