| I'm afraid she'll get too much attention. My zoey is 5 months old now and I am so in love with her. I know the feelings are mutual. I cant imagine life with out her which makes me paranoid sometimes. I don't plan on cutting her short anytime soon but I've been looking at different hair cut styles for her. There are so many cute options. I stumbled on pics of Japanese style grooming and some of those are ridiculously cute. I found one I loved but then thought that such a cute cut on a super cute dog would attract way too much attention. I worry someone might take her from me. She has barely been out in public since I got her in dec. since its been so cold. i took her to the vets, my aunts house and on car rides. I will be exposing her to different places and people so she'll be well socialized but I just worry. Should I avoid a super cute cut or am I being paranoid? Will it make that much of a difference since she is already ridiculously cute? (I would love to share pics but I can't on my phone) By the way, I live in Chicago in the city where life is adventures to say the least. |

| Sounds like you are head over hills in love with your Yorkie!!! Can't blame you there. Seems like having a Yorkie almost always draws attention and ooh's and aah's, reaching for them, grabbing onto them, petting w/out permission, begging you to hold them, etc., no matter whether the hair is long, short, just-groomed or in need of a bath. Some members here complain some people really dis their tiny dog for being "rat"-like or yappy! Anything tiny in size, super engaged in its surroundings and cute to look at is going to draw people in so, long or short hair, you're going to always get attention of one kind or another from family, friends and strangers and thankfully, most of it is positive.

| Got some pics. First is zoey just today. The second one is the style I liked. I love the way her head is shaped but would cut the hair in the legs a little shorter. (I hope the pics upload ) |

That makes complete sense. The cut won't make a difference. I get some "rat" comments but I brush those off. | |

| Is post #4 your Zoey? She's such a little doll she will likely always draw attention!!! I'd tend to just have her evened up a bit and left in that puppy cut she's in.

| Can't go wrong in any style on that little cutie! I say she's your baby and have her groomed the way YOU like. I agree she'll always get attention. She's so darn adorable.

| Im sorry but the cuteness levels are already off the charts. I say groom her in a way that makes you happy. As a fellow neurotic, worried person, you just gotta live life. |

| Zoey has an adorable sweet lil face. As others have stated, she's so cute she'll draw attention no matter what cut she has. If that's the cut you like, go for it. If anyone wants to pet my boy that's ok with me, but NO WAY would I allow a stranger to hold him. Enjoy your little girl in the cut of your choice.

| Thanks everyone for responding. I do worry so much. She's gonna be so cute in that cut. I'm waiting as long as I can to do it but most likely it will be at the beginning of summer. |

| Zoey is so adorable and pretty that it's unavoidable to attract attention. Keep her hair in a style you enjoy and one that will best suits Zoey. I think she looks perfect just as she is, but will be beautiful no matter how long her hair is. |

| She's a real cutie and will garner attention everywhere you go...I'm paranoid with Piper, too, but just be watchful and careful and enjoy all the compliments and new friends you'll make! Any cut on your girl will be oh-so-adorable! |
