Help and advice needed!

I have a 7 month old Yorkie puppy who I adore, but I am having many problems and would appreciate your advice. I am a stay at home Mom and have never had problems house training any of my dogs until Max joined our family. He absolutely has no interest in treats, does not respond to positive reinforcement and is still urinating and pooping all over my house! I have crate trained him, but he poops in his crate, his bed and in his food. Treats as rewards mean nothing to him. Unlike my other pets, he is not food driven. Also, his liver function and kidney function studies have been abnormal, though his latest blood tests show that he is improving. Bile Acid Test was normal. He has an aversion to eye contact and cannot tolerate petting, though he loves snuggling on my lap. He is very aggressive and bit my mailman this week. He attacked a neighbor yesterday when he escaped his leash. I am very concerned and am seeking some advice. I'm at the end of my rope. If someone can help, please contact me at atlanta1212@aol.com. Is he a rescue? Just wondering about his background.
Are you feeding him on a schedule that will help you predict his elimination?
Does he go outside in a yard?

Lots of questions I know but need more information.

I think because of the aggressiveness you really should contact a trainer.

He sleeps with me. In the morning, I carry him out to the yard and he does eliminate sometimes. In the house, I have to use a belly band. I take him out, again, about 20 minutes after feeding. He does not like to have bowel movements outside. After 15 minutes outside, he will come in and poop inside.

He is not a rescue. I have showered him with love. As I write this, he is asleep on my lap!

Maybe he would respond better to indoor potty training.
As was mentioned earlier, a trainer, and I would add an obedience class might be helpful especially given the aggression issues.

Hello and welcome to Yorkie talk! sounds like your little guy is having a lot of challenges but honestly, I think that seeking out help for them is often how folks find themselves here! We have a lot of success using the indoor potty pad method for our little girl- for our family, I really can't imagine it any other way! Also with the wind and the rain and how tiny she is...for us indoor potty pads (like a litter box for cats) had been a great way to go- she gets to be successful and we don't have the mess! Way less stress. We also have alway employed the use of baby gates, closed doors and exercise pens to support our potty training efforts. Yorkies are known to take longer than others.

There are some great ideas for introducing careful socialization to support your baby too, it sounds like he may be struggling in that area (mailman). I would really reccomend a doghouse in an expen to create a safe space for your buddy, especially if you have kids in the house. I have several young children in my household and it really changed the way we introduced Lilah- two story dog house in an excercise pen, baby gates and a slow roll helped us start out. Yorkies are a very boisterous breed as a general rule and can 'hang with the big dogs' better than a lot of little guys but a safe space to go to can really create a platform of security to build skills on top of.

The more Piper and I are out, the happier and more co-operative she is...We go for long walks at a pretty brisk pace and I pretty much take her everywhere with me. She likes the stimulation being around activity and I find that quite often a mere trip to Wal-Mart has her zonked when we get home. Try not to take what your pup does personally (I know that's hard to do) and, yes, try to enlist some help; I'm betting you two will figure out something that will work before too long. Sounds more like a behavioral specialist would be more beneficial in this situation. I know you said he's not food driven.. how about toys? Is there ANYTHING he likes?

As for potty training, have you tried limiting his space? Are you trying to have him go only outdoors or do you have pee pads? Also, there's a spray that's supposed to "help" them know they're supposed to potty in that spot. Doesn't work for everyone but it does for some (including myself).

I have 2 pieces of advice.

Chicken. That is the treat I could always get Maggie to eat. Boiled chicken breast or chicken jerky. Maggie is not a fan of many treats either.

Walks. Walking stimulates them to go. Take some chicken with you and take a walk. It will be good for both of you. As soon as she goes tell her "good potty outside" or some phrase you choose and give it to her. AS SOON AS SHE GOES. She has to associate the treat withe action.

Hopefully she will love the chicken so you can try this. If she doesn't want to go on the leash the treat can help with that too.

hi im not used to this site have not been on here for a long time so I don't know where to ask my question so ill write it here
my toby wil be 3 in march and I noticed since last wk he has this red bump like a pimple or a blister on his neck below his ear I took a pic but don't know how to or where to put it here to show u..im so worried there is nothing oozing from it its like hard but it looks like if u pinch it maybe it would burst I asked the breeder where I got him and she said none of her yorkies have had this..my toby is fine hes acting normal I put a tiny bit of polysporin on the bump ..do u have any idea what this could be
