Bandage off! Long road ahead, minimal walking and no jumping. I am worn out but thankful.

I'm sure it has been quite an ordeal. I hope Ali gets stronger each day and that she has a long, healthy and happy life with you. I'm sure this experience has brought you even closer to your little beauty.

Thank you. Ali is doing well though it's hard to convince her she isn't 100%. She manages to jump UP on furniture if we give her any freedom so we still have to hold or monitor very closely. She hasn't jumped down because we grab her quickly. We are at 6 weeks + and I STILL sleep with her attached to me. We are back to taking walks though not as long as pre break walks. She doesn't limp at all but her run is a little stiff still. I feel relieved that she is doing so well. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR LITTLE ONES, it's soooooooo hard!!!!

Ali is doing great, no problem taking her on long walks. She loves to walk, we are back to 3 or 4 miles a day. Doc said muscles in both legs are almost even. I am so relieved though I don't think I will ever be comfortable with her crazy jumping skills again. I trimmed her hair so she looks a little more even, I really miss her pretty hair but it will grow.
