less then 24 hours to go On December 27 I bought 2 Yorkshire Terriers. I named them Jewel and Bella. They are beautiful babies and am looking forward to finally having my own little family. My kids arrive at 2:35 from Missouri to Colorado. Jumping around I'm so excited for tomorrow. My only issue is, did I get everything I need to take care of them. I have Nutracal, Royal Canine starter puppy food, soft natural gluten free treats, distilled water, bottle of water for airport, grape pedialight, baby wipes, kennel dog bed, 2 more bigger dog beds, leaches, harnesses, tags, pre-micro chiped, shampoo, toothpaste, 40+ toys, meta bowls, insurence as soon as vet has checked them out. Besides cloths, what did I miss. Thank you. I will post how I reacted when I first see my babies. Pretty sure i'm going to be crying from happiness. Thanks everyone who has helped me before in getting ready for this day.

I have no computer, I have a LG cheap smart phone and a external hard drive I take to a friends house to store and clean out phone. I can't size the picture's and there too big. To add to my problems, I have a learning Disability called Dyslexia. Because it has diffetent forms, my dyslexia causes words to move or disappear, letters to change around or disappear. I get motion sickness when reading and I get headaches from too much TV or time on the phone. At times, I literally can't understand the words in front if me, or I will read but not retain any of what I read. This all makes the internet very hard for me simply because I do the wrong thing because I misread or misunderstood something. My only advantages is typing and checking one word at a time does drain me much, so I can type for ling periods of time. Another is my inaccurate IQ due to the reading disorder is 114, placing me in the school for the gifted. But that usualy come with Aspergers, which is now considered a form of Autism makes me smart and determined to learn what I need to survive. Hard to do more when its drained me over the month to learn as much as I could in caring for my babies. But they arrive tomorrow and I don't think I could be anymore ready then I am. As for posting pictures, my solution is help or, I'm going to Creat a Facebook page for them tomorrow so thay people can friend me. Sorry, unless you can help its all I know to do. 😊 💛💙💜❤💗🐶💗❤💚💜💙💛💛💙💜💙💛🐶💗❤💚💜💙💛

I hope you babies are everything you dreamed of. If you need help with the site, please ask. I've worked with adolescents with learning disability for the past 35 years and more recently in the last ten years also with students on the spectrum. The new DSM diagnosis is a bit different and can be upsetting to some. I wish you health, happiness, love, and laughter with both of your new baby girls. Enjoy the ride!

They are in a 10 by 8 play pen/my dining room. Fully sanatized. THERE HERE❤❤❤ I am every bit as happy as I thought I would be and more. Busy busy but got them both fully adjusted, eating and playing 6 hours after getting home, 4 for Jewel. They are eating and drinking and very energetic. Jewel is the more active one. She also appears larger then her sister. She loves to play and deliver endless kisses. She is also the toy taker taking Bellas toyd she's playing with, forcing her to play with Jewel ❤ Bella is the Lover. She had a hard start, throwing up before the trip to Colorado. But one I got her trust and love. Now she lives to be close, and wants to be pet and comforted a lot. When she does play, she is the paper dedtroyer, destroying all the paper I lay down. Good thing i'm stockpiled or I might run out. I have given both Nutra-cal every 3-4 hours. I will soread to every 4-5 tomorrow. Want to make sure there ok before the vets tomorrow, followed by a noon call for there insurence. Everything great. It wont let me set up a seperate facebook so I'm looking into other ways atm to show all my pictures.

I bought green carpet. I'm training them there and plan to remove most paper after they figure out the potty spot. Removed a bunch since its toxic but I was told its fine. O threw away all coupons and inserts, just the paper part. Going to ask for sure

Congratulations on your babies!!! Having more than one is an adventure and a ball!!! I love to just sit and watch all mine intertact....you can actually see the "wheels turning" in their heads as they try to out fox each other! I used newspaper for many years back in the 70's thru 90's, did not switch to disposable pee pads until 2000....never had an issue with ink.....I know in the disposable pee pads, there can be a problem if they consume that white absorbant material, so actually, news paper is less expensive and not as dangerous if it is consumed! I DID pick up on a little something you first posted...no one has mentioned it, so I will.....GRAPE pedialyte??? Grapes are toxic, as are raisins....dont know if they actually use real grapes in pedialyte, as in grape juice, but I would loose the grape pedialyte for UNFLAVORED pedialyte! Pedialyte is great for them during any stressful transition or adjustment or post op recovery or just not eating well....but use the unflavored!

So far only one bad night. Last night a bed time Jewel threw up. I called and left for the vet immediately. They believe its just something she ate. My treats may have upset her stomach. There new treats are cooked, seasoned chicken brest pieces. She is better but not 100% yet. Doctor said sge would have less energy but if she was eating Drinking, and not vomiting or blood in stool that she should be as good as new tomorrow. First scare but I love my babies and will happily take hits of 200$ to ensure they never they live long, adventurous and fun lives togeather. The only part I'm NOT looking forward too is when one dies from old age. I hope the other does pass from depression, I going to need her while I search for a new pair to fill there void. At least its not for 17+ years hopefully. I can't post pictures yet. Still trying but last night scare, I'm in the pen bed for me with both sleepung on me atm. Using Bella to judge Jewels progress of recovery. I will post if things go down hill, but I have vets if I get scared or nervious again. Don't care the cost, these girls have the best. Already health insured, as soon as a month passes, I have help there too. Hoping I never have to use it but HIGHLY doubt it for there senior years. I can hope though | |
