| YT 500 Club Member  |  Temaril Has anyone stopped using Temaril abrubtly. Sammie is on it for an ear infection but he is so tired and depressed on it. he took two pills a day for 3 days and now still has to take 1/2 pill for three days and 1/2 pill every other day till Saturday. I just don't like seeing him so tired and depressed. I have a call into the vet. |

| Sorry your pup isn't feeling well. I wouldn't stop it abruptly without talking to your vet first. It has a steroid in it which is why they wean them off of it.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator  | No, please don't stop it - he needs to be on it for a reason as its anti-inflammatory. It contains an antihistamine which can make them a bit tired, but this side effect will ease after awhile.
