| Always knew Cali was smart but...... ....never knew she could spell! I am at home recovering from surgery and she has been glued to my side - brings me her favorite toys, even some of her food Because I am not very mobile she has not been able to get outside to patrol her domain, so when my DIL came by last night I spelled out the words would she please let Cali "O-U-T". Cali jumped up ran down the hall to the door and jumped up and down. We all cracked up! I need to be very careful I think

| How sweet is that, shares her food with her mommy. Yep, they are smart lil critters. Several weeks ago I spent a week or so with friends, several times I asked one of her kids to do me a favor and take "the dog" O-U-T, after a couple of times Cody caught on and yep, ran to where his harness was kept lol, so now I have to spell out G-O M-A-K-E, better find another word, won't be long before he catches on to that..... Wishing you a speedy recovery.

| My late Lizzie knew all kinds words that I had to spell. Ride, Walk, Out , Grandma, Cookie, Toy,Bath just to name a few. It does just floors me that she was able to pick up on the spelling.

| Jay, I am so very sorry to hear that you had surgery. Hope you are well on the road to recovery! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I always knew that Cali was a smart girl. She is the ONLY for real Service Dog Yorkie that I know. And what services she is providing you while you are recovering - toys to entertain you and food to fill your tummy. What a sweet little girl. It doesn't surprise me that she has added spelling to her list of amazing feats! |

| Thank you Chattiesmom - I am doing great - had the new fangled frontal approach hip replacement - was up walking the same evening as the surgery. So progress has been quite fast - Cali never leaves me when I'm in bed and has been very loyal and sweet. She does keep bringing me 3 to 4 kibble when she has her dinner (takes her 2 trips)! Soooo, funny! Can't imagine what she is thinking!
