| Does your yorkie get cold? I always worried about my pups staying warm in the winter. My schnauzer girl has been wearing her sweater and sleeping under the covers this week. Peanut doesn't seem to mind the cool weather at all. He doesn't want covered up and when I check on him at night (they both sleep in our bed), he is lying on his back ,stretched out with all four feet in the air. My first little yorkie girl always wanted her sweater on when it was cold so don't know what to make of this. |

| My Sophie get cold easy too. I have her sweater on now but worry about her getting to warm. She seems like she is comfortable sleeping in my husband's lap. |

| My pup is just the opposite. She has the soft, dense, cottony coat and is always getting too hot. I have to keep her shaved down even in the winter as it would be like us wearing our Parka indoors. Of course she gets a sweater or coat when she goes out.

| Max is rarely cold. Teddy gets cold outdoors easily. If Peanut has his feet in the air, exposing his belly, you can be assured that he is warm enough.

| ZoE isn't a fan of the cold. It started snowing here about two hours ago, very light powdery flurries, and I just took Zo outside to run around for a bit. Usually she likes to run and sniff in the yard for about 15-20 mins, but today, one lap around the yard and she was back at the door pawing togo inside! Brr.

| That's what I thought too. I figured that if he were cold, he would curl up in a little ball. When I first brought him home, he didn't want to walk on the grass especially if it was damp. Now he goes out the doggie door to his little yard and walks out on the grass without a care. He comes in all wet and just as happy as can be. He goes out and just sits on the steps even when it's chilly. He loves the outdoors. Yorkies are definitely "quirky" little dogs. |

| Peanuts coat is very thick too. That's probably why he doesn't get cold so easily. |

| Callie does and she's a bigger yorkie at 17 pounds. She wears clothes all the time even in summer unless she is outside. At night she sleeps in her warm crate with a thousand fleece blankets and in a nice warm fleece nighty. When she gets cold she will shut down and not want to play or do anything and she can get grumpy. But my moms yorkie rarely gets real cold even in winter a tshirt seems to be enough for him.

| We had a cold snap this week, and both pups have been sleeping under the covers. I have been using a heated blanket in bed, and they both want to be on it They definitely get cold. I joke that my male is a lot like me... He's cold all the time

| Jax doesn't get cold super easily. If it's really cold outside and we are not moving/just standing around, he tends to get cold, but when he's running around, it doesn't seem to bother him. I do like to put him in a jacket or something during snow because he loves running around so much but once the snow melts off him, and he is more 'wet', then he's really cold lol.
