| ProHeart6 Has anyone started using ProHeart6 yet? My vet wants me to try it. It is a 6-month injection that takes care of fleas and heartworm. I'd really like to hear experiences and advice. |

| No, and I'll never use it. It's been pulled off the market once already for killing dogs. I don't use anything 'new' on my pups... I want to see a proven track record of a product before I try it. I have dogs, not guinea pigs or lab rats.

| Totally agree. There is another thread about this, Lou. Let me see if I can find it.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I agree with this. It's a great concept, but until it has a better track record I'm too nervous to use it.

I think it is much safer to just go with the once a month Heartgard. It's been around for a very long time and is a trusted brand. I would never trust ProHeart after all of the deaths that occurred from it.

| Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Too many problems with it.
