| Poop issues after spay? Sorry if gross! Tomorrow makes 2 weeks since Cali's spay procedure. Since then, she has had some poop issues. She has started doing the whole "walking while pooping" thing for starters (not really a big issue, it's just new), and she has really upped her trips outside. Again, not a big issue but something new. The true issue is that most of the time she goes out, squats and tries to go, poop walks, and nothing happens. Or may a small piece will come out. She'll signal that she's done, and come back in and then usually 15 mins later ask to go back out. Or she'll go in the house! What I'm wondering is, does this indicate an issue of something with her spay? Does this sound more like a constipation issue, or could they have done something to her during her spay? If it matters, they used surgical glue not stitches, so it's not a stitch issue, but of course her incision could still be bothering her. Other than the poop thing she is 100% back to her normal self! |

| her belly muscles may be sore and you could check with your vet...I gave keylo mineral oil after her spay as she was having a very hard time passing her poopies. it helps lubricate and makes passing it much easier for them .... it worked wonders and helped alot.
