| Does anyone know a breeder who... I want another Yorkie but I'm having a hard time finding a reputable breeder. My previous breeder has a nasty attitude and I wish to not do business with her again. Does anyone know of any breeders who are professional, breed Yorkies that are 2-3pounds, with a silky coats? Please leave websites, links, and numbers below. Thanks! (If this post is not allowed, admin, please delete) |

| JONMAR'S Margaret Stephens City, VA, 22655 540-869-3175 This is near Winchester, VA. We got both of our Yorkies from her, and would buy from her again. Look at the listing on breeders.net. You might find other breeders nearer to your home on that site also.

| Sorry, you will not find any reputable breeders that breed 2-3# Yorkies. The females should be 5#'s or more for their safety. Even a 5-7# female can run into complications & will need a c-section. This is in the YT Library:http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...e-breeder.html

| I did not mean to infer that the breeder I mentioned would breed for such small Yorkies! Mine are 6 and 8 pounds.

| A reputable breeder won't breed for that size on purpose they may accidentally have a few tiny ones but even they will tell you the only way to 100% know what the pup will weigh as an adult is to get an adult.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You won't find an ethical breeder who breeds on purpose for tiny 2-3 pound yorkies. You will find plenty of unethical breeders who will try to tell you they do this. To find a reputable breeder, you might try YTCA.org first.
