| 5 months old teething? I've noticed recently that my puppy started licking the floor and her lips a lot. She doesn't show symptons of bloat, so the only other thing I can think of (she's acting normal outside of this) is that she might have oral discomfort. Is this discomfort caused by teething? also, are cotton chewtoys safe for a puppy (3 LB)? I was told that dogs can pass cotton without problems (and I made sure that it was the absorbent type and not the synthetic stuff), but I dunno if it would be fine for a pup. The one I got for her is like this: Amazon.com: Cotton Knotted Rope Bone Dog Chew... Last edited by JuanRamos; 04-23-2014 at 10:04 AM. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, she could def be teething. SOmetimes their eyes water more when teething too. That rope toy should be fine .
