| Yikes! Just Yikes! Time to spay???? I've had my females since 2009, they are 7,7, and 6 years old now. Tink is spayed, Sapphire is not yet. She's in heat, and has coerced Tink into mounting her. They always just ignore each other, or they did untill today. They all get along well, no major fighting or anything like that. My question is will they start fighting... is this 'play' a warning I should heed?

| If she has been unspayed this long and no fighting I doubt it will start up now. It is just hormones on the humping and playing

| Oh good! They're both napping now. It was fun (kind of) to watch them interacting, though I wish they would have been playing with some toys or something! Nice that they wore each other out for a bit instead of me, lol!

| my dads dogs, a spayed female and a fixed male, will occasionally do this play thing where the male is attempting to hump the female. She of course doesn't put up with it, and ends the game quick lol... but it happens... Jax doesn't hump other dogs but he is obsessed with his pillow pet. He does it when he's excited and/or bored. Eh, it doesn't bother me....

| Thanks... this caught me so off guard bc they've been living together and just tolerating each other for just 2 months short of 4 years! Something new everyday!
