| New Puppy comes home Thursday! I am bringing my new puppy home on Thursday and I am so excited I haven't slept in days!! Does anyone have any advice on what to do to introduce him to his new home? Also does anyone have any advice on any other things I need for him... I've already bought a couple beds, a crate, a play pen, food/water dishes, toys, puppy pads, and nutrical. I will also be taking him to the vet the day I get him. |

| Congratulations!!! I've been a lurker on the site but I had to post because I'm getting a new yorkie puppy this Friday and I'm not very far from you! I live in Chandler AZ and we are getting a little girl. This is the first time my family has had a dog and we are thrilled! So I'm right there with you. Where did you find your little guy?! |

| She's coming from Casa Grande at Our Precious Yorkies. I mulled over what to do for a while regarding breeders and quality and all that. But in the end I realized I won't be showing her or breeding so I went with her. I'm super happy with her. I've visited twice, she sends pictures weekly and she lets me know if there are any issues. So far just one low sugar day but she took her to the vet and all is well. I'm excited and nervous! It feels like the same anxious anticipation right before labor lol. We should absolutely arrange some play dates that'd be great! |

I know exactly what you mean. I spoke to so many breeders before I decided on my little koda. All the breeders in AZ have champion lines etc which is great, but I wasn't looking for a show dog. I wanted a companion! I went with a first time breeder but I've been really happy with her and all the precautions she's taken etc! | |

| You may want to get some baby nail clippers, puppy nails are super sharp, I snipped mine the day he came home. Nylabone chew toys, best thing I ever got them, keep a probiotic in the house for upset tummies. A brush, that puppy fur is hell, rounded baby scissors for hair trims around the eyes and clippers for the bum. Some pea cleaner, also can be used to clean floors bedding blankets etc. Orange Oxy Pet Stain Odor Remover Eliminate Pet Odors Remove Pet Stains - Nature's Miracle |

| I don't have any recommendations as it seems you already got the essential things but wanted to say congratulations on getting your fur baby!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | It is such an exciting time. I know you have so e of the stuff but here is my list of things you need Puppy Starter Kit Puppy food - whatever puppy is eating now Tube of Nutra Cal Blankets Potty pads Potty pad holder Iris 4 sided expen with 2 extra sides Toys Identification tags Nature’s Miracle Treats- Cheerios work well Small bowls Harness Leash Puppy shampoo Conditioner Espree Pet Facial Cleanser - plum Baby wipes Nail clippers Kwik Stop Styptic Powder Curved scissors Brush - Li'l Pals Slicker Purple and Green Brush for Kittens, Extra Small - slicker brush that I find it to work awesome... just make sure you get one without any ball on the ends of the pins so it doesn't snag the long hair. Comb - Groomaster Finishing Dog Comb - this is a great eye comb, I have it and use it to get eye boogies out and even to use around their butt when they get some dry puppy stuck!
