|  First Groom for Ripley next week.. So I am taking Ripley for her first grooming on Monday. I have a question. I want her coat to grow long...to about the tops of her paws (not the floor). The hair on her underside gets tangled very easily even though we brush her 2/3 times a day. Should I get the groomer to trim that short or do I need to keep that hair to maintain that longer look? I hope that makes sense. I've attached a pic to show you her underside... Thoughts?

|  no I would have the belly hair trimmed right down. I've seen that look and you really cannot tell as the longer hair cover it. plus it will be easier to clean with mud season on its way.
