| On fire and very PO'ed!!! Leiloni and I went to the post office to mail a few orders and of course they all know Leiloni and are always asking to see her to see what she's wearing. So the lady next to me who seemed nice at first proceeded to tell me that she had 2 girls at home and that I really shouldn't be taking my puppy out till she was fully vaccinated oh and how I should be putting clothes on animals and that they didn't like being confined in pet carriers. I let it go and didn't get angry and simply told her that she was no longer a puppy per-say and was over a year old and that she had been fully vaccinated some time ago and that she didn't mind wearing her little dresses and she loved being in her bag and how excited she gets when I get it out because she knows we're going somewhere. Now her next statement is what pushed me to snap. She said that she was sick of these so called breeders breeding these poor tiny things. And that I better not get too attached because she'll more then likely get sick on me and not survive more then a year or 2. I don't even want to go into detail of what I told this woman. And I wish that side of me didn't have to appear out in public. But this lady happen to mess with the wrong person!!! Leiloni was NOT bred to be tiny. Her mom was 7lbs and her brothers ended up being more then 3 times her size. And as far as paying too much just because of her size is nobody's business! I will say she is worth EVERY penny!!! And health wise,,, she's a very healthy 2.6.2 little girl and have had no problems so far.

| I am sorry you had such a bad experience! The person was terribly rude and obviously uninformed and biased. By the way, our first vet thought carriers and piddle pads were ridiculous. We didn't go back. Even my big boys enjoy wearing clothes.

| Wow, some people are just rude and have no common sense. I'm sorry you had to deal with this.I work in a vet clinic and people never cease to amaze me with some of the things they say and do. I love my job but dealing with the public every day just makes me want to come home to my dogs every night that much more. |

| Why people feel the need to give their opinions when not asked is beyond me. Just blow the old windbag off and do what you please

| When YT members are confronted with people that THINK they are knowledgable about Yorkies, and they make statements that prove otherwise, You could always say, "There is a forum on line, called Yorkie Talk, that has been around for many, many years and has members that are very knowledgable in all areas of dogs, breeding, genetics, showing, research, dog fashion, etc.....you should join our group so you can get some clarification on some of the erroneous information you have. You certainly would not want to be passing out information on pups that is incorrect." |

| I'm used to people stating their opinion and I'm not one to argue and let them talk but she took it too far! It takes a lot to get me angry but once someone makes me go there it ain't pretty! I'm sure she's at home thinking to herself,,, I should have kept my mouth shut!

| People who are miserable like to bring other people down but it's her loss your the one enjoying the yorkie love. My dog loves clothes and when I hold it out she puts it on herself she also likes carriers and will jump in them but she is a bit big for one now except her sturdi carrier. People in general are jerks that's why I like dogs so much more lol.

| Wow, that is ridiculous. I am appalled. For one, how dare her tell you what you should and shouldn't be doing with YOUR dog. Talk about RUDE. No one asked her opinion. But secondly, HOW DARE HER insinuate your dog is at death's door just because of her petite size. I don't blame you at all for going off on her. Some people need to know it's not ok to be so rude. Good for you for speaking up and defending your Leiloni!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Didn't you want to her. I would have said actually it is safer for a little dog to be in a carrier. Lots of people do not watch were they are going. Also all the stuff that people have on the bottom of their shoes. I am concerned about my welfare of my girl !

| Thanks ladies! You all are the best! You know how you think of things you should have said after the fact? LOL oh well I'm sure what I did say made her think twice about giving anyone else her opinion without being asked.
