| My little girl went in her first heat at 6 months and that is real early. But I have heard a lot of females going in their first heat after a year.I know a lady with a female that came in at 16 months and that was her first heat. |

| I'm not sure the average age, but Princess went into heat when she was 11 months old. Twinkie is 11 months old and she still has not gone into heat yet.

| I was wondering the same thing! Chloe will be a year old this friday and she also has not gone into heat, ever. ANd Tinkerbell will be 2 years old in march and she has only had it once. I want to get Tink fixed but I was going to wait until after she went into heat again, but I have been expecting it to happen for a long time now. SHould I just go ahead and get her fixed?
