| What brand are they? Are they just the unwrapped ones in a can? I would avoid those if those are the ones. Of course the store will say they are safe. They want to sell them so they can turn a profit. Personally we don't buy those bc they can be very high in fat and Uni has pancreatitis.

| The bones that they normally stuff are way to hard and can break a tooth. Plus you have no idea what the inside is made out of it could be dead dogs or cats for all you know.

| Ok thanks. Is it any bone that is safe for him? He loves the deere antlers from the pet store. They don't splinter. They just grind down as he chews on them.

Supposedly dogs can have raw bones. You cannot give cooked bones bc they will splinter, esp chicken bones, very bad. It can kill your dog. However I have never given mine raw bones not even the fatty factor, but it would make a huge mess!

| Many people swear by bully sticks, but I can't stand the smell. They are dried bull penises. LOL I give Himalayan chews.

| I'm going to try the nones again. He had one when he was a little fellow and he chewed pieces off of it. Which one do you buy? I never heard of the get naked chews. I will check them out. I have never bought the bully sticks because i always heard they stink and I don't want a stinky little guy running around.

| The brand of chews I give Gizmo are N-bone brand which are different then the nbone sold that are nylabones. They have dental chews that are vanilla and peppermint, and he also loves the teething rings that are pumpkin and sweet potato. They don't have the gelatin in them that the nbone nylabones have in them and are really healthy for your pup. They also have a tone of other types of chews to choose from, the 2 I listed are Gizmos favorites though :-) here is a link to their site N-Bone |
