| does your dog do this? I absolutely love it, but it's weird. When I am walking through the house, Barney follows so closely that his little nose bumps into me as I'm walking. Anybody else have a close walker?

| Yep, Harry does that, too......especially if he knows 'there's something in the air'.....like a workman arriving/a relative coming over/anything a bit different..... He knows before I do....!!! All those little wet nose-y nudges up the back of my jeans....!!!! Sally + Harry x |

| Yes! Keegan nose-bumps my leg as I'm walking as though he's nudging me to hurry up. He also nose-bumps my arm when he wants me to hand him something. I looked it up once and read somewhere that nose-bonks are considered mildly "rude" behavior, but generally with no ill intent. I think it's cute.

| Buster is a nose-bumper. If he thinks someone is coming over or if he's going somewhere he will bump me almost every move I make. He gave me a butt-bump a couple of weeks ago. I was bathing Maggie in the bathtub and she likes for me to sing to her while she's getting bathed (no one else will hear me sing, because I can't). While I was down on my knees bathing her, he apparently had a smidge of jealousy, he came up and nosed me in the butt. He didn't want me singing to Maggie.

| Too cute! My boys nose bump, butt bump, and generally act like cats sometimes.

Yes, wet bumps in the summer. At first I thought he was nipping at me through my pants, but then I realized he's actually bumping me.

Our first yorkie hated cats. We have been very surprised at how feline Barney acts. He uses those long legs just like a cat would. Charlie, our fist yorkie, could care less if I walked down the hall. It's kind of nice having a shadow. I guess that makes me a little weird.

| Maggie does it when she follows daddy to the kitchen for a snack. She nudges each ankle. I think of it as ankle biting, as in "ankle biters" but she doesn't bite, just noses. |

| My older pup used to nose bump when he wanted on my lap and my arm was in the way....he'd try to nose it out of the way!! LOL!! But about a year ago, I taught him how to shake and now it's the "paw" for everything....the worst is when he paws at my face at night because it hurts. He paws for food...he paws to get my attention....he paws to get in my lap...and if I don't pay attention, then one paw turns into a digging frenzy. I guess the good thing is, he now paws at the door when he needs to go out!! |

| Barney uses his nose to push my arm out of his way also. His trick to wake me up at night is licking. I wake up with him licking furiously at my face, arm, hand, whatever he can find to get my attention. Usually a few pats will put him back to sleep.

| Uni one ups that. When she wants attention, she pays close attention to me and pushes me in the back of the knee as I take a step. What a trickster!

| And this is why I love yorkies. I love that they demand attention. Last night, I stopped walking each time he nose bumped me and I would turn and look at him. He would immediately sit and stare at me. I swear he was saying, "Problem????". He continued bumping all the way to bed.
