| How is it... That a 5 pound dog can take up 3/4s of a queen sized bed???? Hubby and I are literally hanging off the edges lol. Allie isn't allowed to be around the boys right now, so she's been sleeping with hubby and me...at least she's sleeping. We're hanging on for dear life and trying not to disturb the "princess".

| A mystery that will probably never be figured out, I had a 3.4lb girl that took up 3/4 of the bed she shared with me and my wife. Enjoy her, I miss the 1/4 bed. Cheers Quad & Gina

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Tell me about it! My smallest one, Sapphire, is 5 lbs, and takes up 3/4 of the bed. That leaves 1/4 left for myself, my husband, and the other two 10 LB yorkies, Gellica & Phantom. We definitely need a King size bed!

| That is why mine sleep in a crate, I like my space. I kick out my four cats and my big dogs sleep on the ground. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I've just finally accepted that it's their bed and I'm lucky to be allowed in it.

| Lol, I know the feeling. We have two sleeping with us and I am sleeping on the edge. It's hard to turnover

| My little Mylee is like 7 lbs, but she's very light on her feet and not much substance to her frame when you pick her up. (She looks heavier than she is) but when she sleeps, OMG, she's like a TON! I try to gently nudge her to make her move, and there's no give. To make matters worse...she MUST be touching me. If I break free and move to a "cooler" part of the bed...she gets up and moves over too. I wouldn't change it, she snuggles better than my dh ever has.

| I don't let them upstairs but I do nap with them on the couch on weekends. Space is one thing but the snoring and sleeping "talking"... That's a whole new level. Magnus (15.5 lbs) is usually quite. But Zoey (5.5 lbs) either snores or talks in her sleep. And goodness is she loud! LOL |

| Ughh...I've already decided that when I move, I will be getting a king size bed because a queen just doesn't cut it. For some reason, both of the boys have decided that I am their personal pillow. Ricky sleeps between my legs or pressed up right beside me and Princeton likes to lay on my stomach. Prince will eventually move to the end of the bed. |

| I really don't think it matters how big your bed it. The yorkies will want to be right up against you.

| I excepted it a long time ago when I got my first dog that it was her house and she allows us to just live there. Now many dogs later it is the same way with Amy, her house her rules. LOL |

Lola is working on the art of being impossible to move. She likes to sleep on top of me or pressed as close as possible. I've been sleeping with a dog since I was 7, so I don't know what it's like to have more than the edge. | |
