We went to an adoption event from the North Shore Animal League "just to look". Well, I would like to introduce our pup, Bella. No, she is not a Yorkie, but she is a cute, good little girl. She is 18 weeks old, spayed, UTD on shots. She was pulled from a high kill shelter. She is a mixed terrier. Our vet thinks maybe rat terrier and possibly pomeranian. I tried to put a picture that I have on my cell phone but it is too large and I can't resize it. (I'm not good at that kind of stuff). I will try to have one of my sons do it so you can all see Bella. I hope you will enjoy hearing about her even though she isn't a Yorkie.

Congrats on the new addition to your family! I think the whole "just to look" is just a way of trying to fool ourselves. LOL Can't wait to see a picture of Bella!

I am so happy for you, Valerie. Your post brought me so much joy. It makes not one bit of difference that Bella is not a Yorkie. If you want me to resize your photo, I can give you my email.

Thank you everyone for your kind words!!! Bella is doing very well, In fact, I have to spell certain words in front of her. She is doing very well with her pottying and she knows that "eat" means mealtime!! She loves to lay in the grass in the backyard and watch everything. I keep her on a leash at all times even though our yard in fenced in. I did the same with Sammy. I still cry for Sam, I miss him so terribly much. I think that maybe Bella rescued me!
