Hi, all! I'm new here, but not to online forums in general. I'll be getting my first Yorkie later this month or early in November. My parents have a Maltese that I helped to train when I still lived at home. I've since graduated from college and am now in my third year of medical school. I miss having a furry friend around, now that I'm a lot further away from home, so I'm really looking forward to my new little one. I'm thinking I will probably call her Lexie. I already have a few items for her and am loving puppy shopping!

Hi, and welcome to YorkieTalk! Congrats on your new Yorkie. Lexie is a great name. If my son didn't have an ex named Lexi, we would have named my Rory that. :P I can't wait to see some pics of your new bundle of joy!

Welcome! Your story sounds just like mine, except I had a pekingese back at home. I just picked up my Yorkie Saturday
