| I have a Midwest exercise pen but mine doesn't have a door. I figured beings Piper is only 3 lbs it would just be easier to bend over and pick her up. I also have the Midwest double door crate and you can actually attach the pen to the crate to create a little house/yard effect. I'll be using it that way come winter time when it will be to yucky for her to go outside. The quality of the Midwest is awesome!! |

| I have a Mid West 24"x24" 8 panel folding pen, with a door, and the crate can be attached to the pen. By folding some of the panels together you can make is different sizes. I love it and have all panels folded out so Gina has plenty of room, and can leave her in there while I am gone. Cheers Quad

YT 1000 Club Member | It's nice to have a nice secure Back Yard with a Doggy Door, where our little ones can run and romp when they want to. Not everyone can have that, and sometimes play areas in the house take up a lot of needed room. If that's the case, you might consider a "Run". Take a look at... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/alb...ctureid=122721

| Gina hasn't tried to jump it, and she's jumped on the couch once so far, but she's not yet 5 months, and the couch is about 10 inches shorter than the pen. The trainers at PetSmart suggested this size, and I am very happy with it. I got lucky when I got mine, somebody took it out of the box to look at it and decided against it, too short for their dog, so I got 20% for it being an open box, nothing wrong with it, $64 instead of $80. Cheers Quad

I have this one as well and it's amazing !!!!!! I had a cheaper metal one before and when Gizmo would jump on the side, it would move all over the floor. This one is so amazing and I love the tray underneath it as well, because it protects my hardwood floors :-) I also bought the top you can put over it, so they can't climb out. I plan on trying the top this weekend when I go to my nephews wedding :-) it is so nice though and looks just like a nice piece of furniture in my living room. | |

| Oh I also wanted to add that one of the reasons I wanted something more stable, higher and had the top option was because when my house keeper started the vacuum, gizmo climbed right over the top it scared him so bad. Yorkies are great little climbers :-) he was only 11 weeks old and less than 2 lbs when he climbed out of the 24" high pen. |

| I've been on Amazon for the past few weeks debating on a pen for my little guy. Thanks to this thread, I ordered the Midwest pen that is 30" high (it was cheaper than the 24" high one).
