| Strange things Yorkies eat... I thought I would start off a conversation on what strange things your yorkies eat because Tino is a fussy little bugger and stopped eating the dog food he was eating at the breeders. So I went and bought a special food for little dogs (cesears) - he loves it. He wont eat anything else, and definately not dry food. Anyway, since then he has discovered (and Im talking a teeny tiny bit here - ie.a lick of a finger) strawberry cheesecake, coke, christmas cake. And it made me laugh cos they all began with 'C'. What do yours like?...... |

| My dogs will eat anything you put in front of them except dog food that is. They are picky about their dog food.

| Lilly will eat anything, especially things that have fallen on the floor lol. She loves cheese and peanut butter but that’s only for special occasions. As far as her food goes, she only likes dry food that has been soaked. She is a picky eater. She doesn’t really care for puppy treats much and does not like doggy biscuits. But if mommy is eating it, she wants it haha |

| Lonely Picky Eater Since October 18, we have been Yorkie sitting a 9 lb, 12 year old female Yorkie, Zena. You dont even know she is in our home, she is that well behaved. Her owner had to travel to Illinois, to care for her terminally ill sister. The owner called me to ask what boarding kennel I used, and had thoughts of leaving her there, until I offered to Yorkie sit for her. She did fine at first, then she stopped eating, everything I tried didnt work, so I called our vet, and he checked her out, nothing phsically wrong with her. He suggested I get Gerber Baby food, the small jar of chicken only, and use 1 tsp. with warm water added to make a gravy, and pour over her dry food. she loved it, and now, she lickes her bowl clean. She gets fed 2x a day, and she has learned to tell time, so her feeding times are 8am, and 5pm, on the dot! I came to find out, her owner would give her table scraps with her dry food, so this is probably the reason, she protested and stopped eating completely. Now, she is on her dry food, and chicken gravy only, which is much healthier for her. Hugs, Chelsea'sMom |

| Nikko eats Eukanuba dry puppy food (the vet recommended it and told me not to mix any moist food with it because its bad for his teeth). He is not very picky and he loves vanilla yogurt, peanut butter, bread, american cheese, white rice, boiled chicken breast and unsalted soda crackers (all in EXTREME moderation). Yesterday I was making fried chicken and accidently dropped some seasoned bread crumbs on the floor. Before I could run for the broom, there was Mr. HooverVac himself licking up the kitchen floor. I had to lock him out of the kitchen to clean up the mess!! So I guess you can add 4C Breadcrumbs to his list as well.

| Heidi will eat her dog food when she's really hungry, usually around midnight. She will eat most other foods, except for things like some fruits and veggies. She loves meat. She is a bit of a beggar lol. |

| If my Yorkie finds any hamster or rabbit feed on the floor, she gobbles it up. Strange doggie!

| I had Raven on the Ceasers dog food because it was the only thing she would eat as well. Who wouldn't with flavors such as prime rib, pork tenderlion, filet mignon. Nothing but the best for our babies. Then one day I was at the vets waiting to get Raven her shots, and was mortified by the crying little dog in the next room. So when the assistant came back to the room I asked what the problem was, and she said the dog was having her teeth scraped. The assistant said when you feed a dog table scraps and soft food it's the worst thing for there teeth. When I left the vet I went to Pets Mart to find a dry dog food food Raven would like. After about 6 different kinds, she finally likes "Purina Little Bites - Indoor Complete" Raven also loves the dingo chew bones, and they also make little chewable balls. These are her favorite. Kim

| My dogs will eat anything, even their dry dog food.. If it falls on the floor its theirs.. Try a test. Take something you think your dogs won't eat, make like your fixing yourself something to eat and then drop it on the floor, will you dogs eat it.. Mine will, they eat lettuce, corn, actually any veggie, bread, candy??!! basically anything and everything. They have been also know to eat makeup, chap stick, certs (they love to have minty fresh breath!!) I really have to watch everything around the house.. Lilly has been know to eat the clips from Bell's head.( takes them right off her!!)

| Zoloft Oh, forgot to say that Baby got ahold of one of my Zoloft pills a few weeks ago. I wondered why she had diarrhea and was very calm and sleepy . Then I found a half eaten pill on the floor. I almost had a heart attack. Then I read up on "Puppy Prozac" and realized they actually give pups this stuff. I told my vet, and he said it was "ok." Now I make sure the pills pop in my mouth and NOT on the floor.
