Scam from phone number (575) 303-7526 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Hello everyone, I have a question;
Has anyone dealt with a person from the phone number of (575) 303-7526? NameS are: Nina Sanchez or Melissa Martinez. They are saying they have Yorkies for adoption, but it seems shady to me with different names, emails and telephone numbers. I looked up the 575 #, after receiving texts from it, to find out that the number is from a land line in NM, even though they claim to be living in Chicago, IL. Please contact me and let me know. My email is alyxbisler@yahoo.com. Thank you!!!! BTW: I have two yorkie rescue boys Dante' and Djhartanian. ( Hence DoubleD name)

Hmmmm...haven't heard of any scams like this so far. Do you have any idea how they got your number?

I googled that number and TONS of red flags went off when the results were shown.

My advice would be 1st, block that number from calling you. Second, do a bunch of research here on YT! You'll find all sorts of forums with so many topics your head will spin. The Forums gateway is under Yoda the Yorkie.

I google any number that calls me that is not in my phone as a contact. You can learn al lot from googling.

They have ads on backpage, claiming Dallas, tyler, Wichita Falls, San Antonio, El Paso, Brownsville, Waco, Denton, Texarkana, and that's just page 1.

It came up on the backpage thing.

I am shocked and amazed at their health guarantee. There's nothing in it guaranteeing anything. And those poor little puppies.... Micro teacups my rear end! That shouldn't be allowed. And no papers or anything, imagine that!

I googled the number, then on the backpage for Texarkana I clicked next at the bottom. That link was the second one down. I saw it had micro teacups for $4000.00 so I clicked. I shouldn't have clicked.

There NEEDS to be laws against breeding AND advertising for teacups & micro minnies IMO. I truly believe there may be more sick people in this world then not

If someone called your phone beginning with the 575-303 number, they are most likely located in Raton in New Mexico, zip code 87740.
This is what I found on google.
