Who has a car seat? We purchased one this summer, a lookout booster seat that had straps to keep the baby in. But I returned it after I read about the dangers of air bag deployment. I'd like to be able to secure Penny when I take her out, but she would love to see the action. And my car doesn't have the type of back seats that a booster could attach to.

Any thoughts or products to share?

If you have a newer model car, your front airbags may not deploy with just your pup in that seat. Most newer models have weight sensors in the passenger seat. However, the side airbags could still pose a problem. Cindy (livingdustmops) recently did some research into this. Maybe she'll fill us in!

So far, I am using a special seatbelt harness for Joey that I feel comfortable with. However, he gets carsick so I am planning to buy a carseat for him as soon as I get home so that he can see out!

Princess has a car seat. My husband put it in for me, I'll have to ask him how he did it. I drive a Mustang. I wouldn't take Princess for car rides without one. She likes to ride with the top down.
